Oh my gawd, the ESE-Homepage is back, with our own public forums, new style and much more. .
Most people thought ESE was dead, well it did come close.

In the last two or three months ESE was very much sleeping taking a back seat, because of real life problems, internet issues, security vulnerabilities and plenty more unforeseen predicaments :s

Since 16th June 2006 we managed to overcome them entirely, with the coders bashing heads against one another, swapping source code in a big conference, which saw the team being reformed with roles altered for the better to making a quicker release.

Another issue of ours was with upcoming TO:C release, since we were not clear in the mind if it made sense to work on ESE for AoT when and IF nobody would be playing it. However, with the TO:C mod released for UT2K4 it still seems a majority of the community are still playing AoT, which of course surprised us as a whole and encouraged us to make ESE for AoT 

Currently we have the MasterServer rebuilt from scatch and fully functional. On the Client side there are some changes in security and a bigger updates in the Cheat detection will be allow for on-the-fly cheatxxx that could be released later?

We know the community has had little faith in us in the past 6 months due to lack of public awareness and the project seeming to be everlasting, however we insist you stick by with us, since there will be a public release soon.

Was zur Hölle ist das ?

Oh mein Gott , die ESE-Homepage ist zurück , mit einem eigenen neuen Forum, neuem Style und und und..
Einige dachten dass ESE schon tot ist.
Das ist richtig .. bzw es war richtig.
In den letzten zwei, drei Monaten war ESE mehr am schlafen, als aktiv aufgrund diverser reallife Probleme, internet probleme, ..
Jedoch seit dem 16. Juni 2006 wurden viele Probleme behoben, alle Coder hatten ein großes meeting und das Team wurde reformatiert.
Zwischen all den Problemen, wurde dann noch TO:C released und es war eine Zeit lang unklar, ob es Sinn macht für AoT noch ESE zu coden, wenn es keiner mehr spielt ^.~ aber es sieht derzeit so aus, dass viele active Spieler noch in AoT sind.
Deswegen macht es Sinn an ESE weiter zu arbeiten.
Derzeit wird der MasterServer wieder aufgebaut. Am Clienten wird die Protection verändert sowie eine neue Cheatdetections eingebaut, die zukünftige releasete Cheats stoppen soll.
